Run, Lola, Run - Movie Review
If you did not watch this movie before you should definitely do that because it would not leave you indifferent: the events of the film move fast and you do not have even a minute to relax and be bored. Run, Lola, Run is a German film of 1998 year which had made Franka Potente become a well-known actress: her "Lola" is impossible to forget!

Plot:
Manny (Lola's boyfriend) calls her and tells that he had lost 100 000 DM which belonged to one very bad guy, and he will kill him in 20 minutes if Manny does not find this sum. So, now Lola has only 20 minutes to find this money and meet Manny.
The film shows us 3 different situations which describe Lola's attempts to find money, and all these situations are controlled by fate. It was the casino game of roulette which helped Lola to gather the needed sum of money: she comes to a casino and wins 129 600 marks there what is 29 600 marks more than she needs to save her boyfriend.
Is it a must-see film?
Yes, definitely you should watch this film, if you like fast-moving events: Lola has been running during the whole film trying to save her boyfriend and the audience is able to observe the streets of Berlin with its buildings, shops, cars, people etc.
Lola is unforgettable: a bright red hair, a big tattoo, a voice which can make a glass to be shattered; the athletic girl who has to run throughout the city in order to be in time.
Run, Lola, Run is full of energy and action; the director of the film uses different effects to hold the audience's attention: slow motion, animation, photography, normal cinematography. This film has received 26 different wins and 14 nominations, including BAFTA Film Award.
